Rotary speakers shares information about Arkansas Business Navigator program

This week’s speaker at the Nashville Rotary Club’s meeting was Kam Gomez. 

Gomez is an Arkansas Business Navigator for the University of Arkansas System, Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Services Community, Professional and Economic Development Unit. The goal of business navigators is to support small business owners and entrepreneurs across the state to start, grow or re-image their businesses. Gomez said navigators provide one-on-one, no-cost business counseling in Business planning, access to capital and financial assistance, contracting and procurement, marketing, operations, and business development and industry-specific training.

Gomez serves seven counties in Southwest Arkansas including Howard, Little River, Pike, Hempstead, Sevier, Polk, and Miller.  

Gomez said the UADA has online resources, including podcasts that highlight Business Navigator Success stories.
