Saturday will be busy day at Nashville Public Library

Saturday is going to be a busy day at Nashville branch of the Howard County Library.

Librarian Julio Fuentes stated he will be leading a basic computer class Saturday morning from 11 to noon. He said the class will cover and discuss: how computers work, basic computer task, how to hook up accessories to your computer and the basics of printing and getting on the internet. Fuentes said there is still one space available for Saturday’s class.

Fuentes said there will another Understanding computers just enough to get by class on Saturday, August 20.

Fuentes will also be leading Saturday’s summer reading program at the Nashville Library at 1 pm. He said the program was for primary and elementary aged students. This year’s summer reading program theme is Oceans of Possibilities and children will be learning about whales this Saturday.

Fuentes also shared some interested facts about how whales were used in the fashion industry.
