School Board election filing deadline today at noon

Noon today is the deadline for school board candidates to submit their petitions ahead of this spring’s elections. So far in Howard County, the clerk’s office says Jerry Wilson has filed to retain his Zone 4 seat on the Nashville School Board and Kenneth Eckert has also filed for his position on the Dierks School Board. The other open board seat this year in Howard County is the Zone One seat at Mineral Springs, which is currently held by Shelia Jackson
In Pike County, positions up for election include the South Pike County Zone One seat held by Sarina Minton and the Zone Five seat, currently held by Angie Fabian.
At Centerpoint, the seat up for election this year is the Zone 5 seat occupied by Larry Harvey.
