Scrapper Baseball To Scrimmage With Mufreesboro Today

The Nashville Scrappers baseball team is hosting their annual hit a thon fund raiser today at Wilson Park. In addition to the hit a thon, there will also be concession items include hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs available. The team has been selling tickets on several items, including a homemade Razorback fire pit, Yeti cooler and a Ruger rifle. Those items will be awarded in a drawing this afternoon.

Prior to the fund raiser, the team will host Murfreesboro for the first game-like experience on the new turf infield that was installed over the winter months.

The activities begin at 4:30 this afternoon. Admission is five dollars.
