Scrapper Supermarket Gets $5000 Check From Local Church
The Scrapper Supermarket received a $5,000 donation from the Methodist Men of the First United Methodist Church in Nashville on Monday. The money will be used to support the operation of the food pantry.
High school counselor Crystal Evans said the supermarket is open for any student in the district.
Members of the Methodist Men taking part in the check presentation included Mike Myers, Connie Milum, Woody Futrell, Larry Teague, Daniel Kirkpatrick, Don Gammill and Hollis Hughes.
