Scrapperette Softball Scrapaganza Set for Good Friday

One of the community’s favorite spring traditions returns this Good Friday, April 18th, as the Scrapperette Softball team hosts its annual Scrapaganza, the biggest fundraiser of the year for the program.

The day kicks off with grilled boneless chicken thigh dinners sold for $10 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Diamond Bank lot on Main Street. Meals can be picked up, delivered, or pre-ordered by contacting any softball player or texting 870-833-0521.

Festivities continue at Futrell Field starting at 5:00 PM, with more chicken plates available and a lineup of interactive softball activities. At 5:30, young athletes from 8th grade and below can take the field for “Swinging with the Scrapperettes.” Alumni are invited to join in at 6:15 PM, followed by the team’s Hitathon at 7:00 PM, where fans can sponsor players during a lively round of batting practice.

Throughout the night, attendees can also enjoy games and giveaways, including the fan-favorite “Let’s Hit a Deal.”

The Scrapperette program invites the community to come out for a fun-filled day of food, games, and softball to support one of the top teams in Arkansas.
