Scrapperettes advance in 4A South regional basketball tournament; advance to state
The Nashville Scrapperettes advanced in the 4A South regional basketball tournament Thursday, with a 50 to 44 win over Camden Fairview. Yesterday’s win advances Nashville to next week’s state tournament at Morrilton and means Nashville will face Star City on their home court in today’s regional semifinals. The Scrapperettes defeated Star City in the early part of this season. B99.5 will have today’s broadcast, beginning at 4 p.m.
Also yesterday, the Mineral Springs Hornets had their season ended in the Class A regional, losing to Bradley, 62 to 36.
Today’s 2A games will include the Murfreesboro Lady Rattlers playing Parkers Chapel and the Dierks Outlaws will face Magnet Cove. Both of those games will be at Caddo Hills.
