Scrapperettes and Outlaws advance to District Tournament finals

The Nashville Scrapperettes will play for a 7-4A District basketball championship tomorrow evening. At Thursday’s semifinal round, Nashville defeated De Queen, by a score of 70 to 32. Nashville faces Bauxite in the 6 o’clock championship game.
In the boys game from last night, the Scrappers were not as fortunate. A five point second half performance sealed the Scrappers fate, in a 44 to 27 loss against top seeded Ft. Lake.
In Saturday’s four games, the consolation games begin tomorrow at 11:30. Nashville’s boys play De Queen for the 3rd/4th seed Saturday afternoon at one o’clock.
The championship games begin with the Scrappereettes playing Bauxite at 6 o’clock…followed by the boys final at 7:30, between Arkadelphia AND Fountain Lake.
At the 7-2A tournament Thursday night, the Dierks Outlaws secured a spot in the district finals.
