Scrapperettes defeat De Queen 18-0
The Nashville Scrapperettes picked up their final home conference win of the season Thursday, defeating De Queen 18 to nothing in a three inning contest at the city park.
Nashville pitcher Maci McJunkins tossed another perfect game to pick up the victory. The Scrapperettes jumped out to a six to nothing lead in the first inning and continued to expand that lead over the next two innings. Nashville’s 18 runs came on 19 hits.
The Scrapperettes close out their conference season today with a road game at Fountain Lake. Coach Boomer Brown says he hopes the team finishes the season strong today & secure a number one seed entering the regional tournament next week at Malvern:
