Scrapperettes defeat Fountain Lake in 3-innings

Monday afternoon, the Nashville Scrapperettes defeated the Fountain Lake Lady Cobras 15-0 in 3-innings at the Nashville City Park.

Nancy Worthington earned the win in the circle by giving up no runs on one hit and striking out seven.

The Scrapperette’s scored 15 runs on nine hits.

Jasmine Wakefield led the Scrapperettes at the plate. She had 4-RBIs on two doubles and a 2-run home run.

Ashley Chambers ended the game by driving in 3-runs.

Head coach Brian Boomer Brown said the changes that the team has made are paying off.

Brown said the team has had some good practices of late.

The Scrapperettes will play Mena on Thursday and Malvern Friday at the Nashville City Park before traveling to Benton to play three games on Saturday.
