Scrapperettes defeat Lady Leopards; advance to conference championship game
The Nashville Scrapperettes improved to 23 and 4 on the season Thursday night, with a 30 point victory over the De Queen Lady Leopards. Nashville led by only 4 points at halftime, but defense held De Queen to only 9 points in the second half, with the final score being 65 to 35. The Scrapperettes will host the district championship game Saturday, against Mena.
At Arkadelphia, the Scrappers lost to the Badgers in the semifinal round, 58 to 31. With Hope’s loss to Fountain Lake Thursday night, the Scrappers will be at home Saturday in the consolation game, to face the Bobcats.
