Scrapperettes Defeat Magnolia, Scrapper Boys Fall Friday at Scrapper Arena

The Nashville Scrapperettes and Scrapper boys basketball teams were in action Friday night at Scrapper Arena against the Magnolia Lady Panthers and Panthers, with mixed results for Nashville.

The Scrapperettes picked up a strong conference victory, defeating the Magnolia Lady Panthers 74–48. The win improves the Scrapperettes’ record to 18–3 overall and 3–0 in conference play.

The Scrapper boys later took the court but fell to the Magnolia Panthers by a final score of 70–50. With the loss, the Scrappers move to 12–2 overall and 2–1 in conference play.

The Scrapperettes will return to action today as they face the Lakeside Lady Rams in Hot Springs. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

If weather permits, both the Scrapperettes and Scrappers will travel to Arkadelphia this Friday to take on the Lady Badgers and Badgers, with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m. B99.5 will provide live coverage of the games.
