With the win, the Scrapperettes improve their record to 12–3 overall on the season.

Nashville will return to action tonight as they take on the Little Rock Central Lady Tigers at home, with tipoff scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

In other sports action, the Nashville Scrappers will compete in the Southwest Invitational Tournament in Mineral Springs today, with tipoff scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

KMTB and KNAS recently caught up with Scrappers head coach Aaron Worthen, who opened by emphasizing the biggest focus the team has maintained all season—trusting the process.

Worthen went on to say the Scrappers have gotten off to a strong start this season, noting the benefits of facing quality non-conference competition early on.

He also highlighted the importance of defense, pointing to it as a key factor in the team’s success.

Worthen then discussed the leadership from the upperclassmen, along with the continued development of the underclassmen as the season progresses.

To wrap things up, Worthen shared a final message for the team as they prepare for tonight’s matchup.
