Scrapperettes defeated by defending 6A state champs

Good hitting from Benton, combined with uncharacteristic mistakes by the Scrapperettes, helped Benton defeat Nashville in a softball contest Thursday evening, 11 to 2.  Benton is the defending 6A State Softball Champions.  Yesterday’s loss was the first on the season for the Scrapperettes.  The game was played on the campus of Henderson State University.

Nashville is scheduled to be back in action Monday afternoon, taking on Magnolia at Southern Arkansas University.
