Scrapperettes fall to Lady Miners 1-0
For the first time in a long time, the Nashville Scrapperettes have lost a 7-4A Conference softball game, have lost two consecutive games, and were shutout. All of those events happened the same time Wednesday afternoon, as the Bauxite Lady Miners had a top of the 6th inning solo home run to account for a one to nothing win at the Nashville City Park.
The Scrapperettes had multiple opportunities in the game’s late innings to tie, or even take the lead, but manufacture a run.
Bauxite managed just two hits on the afternoon & left 5 runners on base. For the Scrapperettes, they collected four hits in the game and stranded 6 runners.
The Scrapperettes will play Hope Friday afternoon before heading into spring break.
