Scrapperettes’ Season Ends in Narrow State Tournament Loss

The Nashville Scrapperettes saw their season come to an end Friday at the Class 4A State Tournament in Morrilton, falling to the Southside Southerners in a close contest, 63–60.

Nashville trailed by nearly 10 points during the first half as Southside built an early lead. The Scrapperettes mounted a strong comeback in the second half, gradually cutting into the deficit and turning the game into a back-and-forth battle in the final minutes. Despite the rally, Southside was able to hold on for the three-point win.

The loss ended an impressive season for the Scrapperettes, who finished with an overall record of 29–4. Nashville also went undefeated in conference play and claimed first place in the 4A South Regional Tournament on their way to the state tournament appearance.

The team’s strong season included dominant performances throughout conference play and postseason competition, highlighting a year of success for the Scrapperettes program.
