Scrapperettes Win Arkadelpia Tournament

The Nashville Scrapperettes picked up their first tournament championship of the softball season Saturday afternoon, winning the Southwest Tournament at Arkadelphia.

In Friday night’s games, Nashville outscored Mt. Ida and Hope by a combined score of 42-1.

Saturday, they defeated Genoa Central in the semifinals and picked up the championship with a 4-2 win over Horatio.

In their first week of the season, the Scrapperettes are now 7-0. They’ll host Lake Hamilton for the first home game of the season today at the Nashville City Park.
