Scrapperettes Win Eighth Straight Game
The Nashville Scrapperettes won their 8th game of the season yesterday afternoon by a score of 9-0 over Malvern.
Offensively, Nashville managed 14 hits against the Lady Leopards. Jasmine Wakefield and Macie Goff each had three hits to lead Nashville.
Maci McJunkins also drove in a pair of runs for the Scrapperettes. She was also the winning pitcher for Nashville allowing just two hits and striking out nine Malvern hitters during the seven inning contest.
Yesterday’s win was the first home game for Nashville. The team is scheduled to have road games the rest of this week with Ashdown on Thursday and at De Queen Friday afternoon.
