Scrappers advance to semi-finals with 63-62 victory over Elkins
Friday night, the Nashville Scrappers overcame an early 21-point deficit to come from behind and defeat the Elkins Elks 63-62. The Scrappers pulled to within one-point on 60-plus yard touchdown throw from Sloan Perrin to Toddrick Watson with 6-seconds remaining in the game. Perrin then scored the game winning two-point conversion from the 1-yard line to claim the quarterfinal victory.

Elkins was up 55 to 35 early in the third quarter, but Nashville tied the score at 55 when the Scrapper defense recovered a fumble in the endzone. Elkins responded by scoring less than a minute later, but Nashville did not give up and scored with 6 seconds remaining the game and took the lead on the two point conversion.
In other 4A playoff action, Arkadelphia tamed the Rivercrest Colts 48 to 13, while Harding Academy had to come from behind to defeat McGehee. Arkadelphia will travel to Harding Academy in one semi-final game. On the other side of the bracket, Malvern defeated Warren 27-21 in overtime and the Nashville Scrappers defeated the Elkins Elks. Nashville will travel to Malvern Friday night to take on the Leopards for the second time this season.
