Scrappers and Scrapperettes travel to Mena for conference action today
Rainfall to begin the workweek caused a postponement of the Nashville/Mena baseball game from Monday until today. As district play begins its final week, the Scrappers have a lot to play for. A win today should secure Nashville a third seed heading into the regional tournament next month. Coach Kyle Slayton says the Scrappers need to take care of Mena today and control their own destiny:
First pitch is scheduled at 5 o’clock this afternoon in Mena. B99.5 will have the live broadcast.
The Scrapperettes are also scheduled to play a conference game at Mena this afternoon. Their game has a scheduled start time of 4:30. KNAS 105.5 will have the coverage.
