Scrappers Close Out Bankers Classic With Win

On Thursday, the Nashville Scrapper Basketball Team wrapped up the Bankers Classic in strong fashion, defeating the El Dorado Wildcats 74–68.

The Scrappers came out firing, taking control early with a 22–8 lead in the first quarter and extending it to 42–32 by halftime. After the break, Nashville continued to hold momentum, heading into the fourth quarter up 64–49 before securing the six-point victory.

Four Scrappers scored in double figures. Bo Bell led the way with 23 points, followed by Demetrus Shelley with 21, Johnte Taylor with 16, and Jailyn Staggers with 10.

With the win, Nashville improves to 5–0 on the season.

Next up, the Scrappers hit the road to take on Fountain Lake Cobras. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16th.
