Scrappers defeat the Lions of Horatio 11 – 1
The Nashville Scrapper baseball squad defeated Horatio Thursday evening in a non-conference game, 11 to 1 at Wilson Park. The Scrappers scored in four of the five innings of yesterday’s game, including four runs in the second and five runs in the 5th to end the contest. At the plate, Will Pope, Caiden Erwin, and Tyler Brown led Nashville, with two hits each. Landon Tollett was credited with driving in four runs.
Garrett Willard struck out eight and walked two for the victory, while pitching the 5 inning complete game for Nashville.
the Scrappers improve to 10 and 2 on the season. They’ll have a non-conference road game today at Vilonia, and return to conference play following spring break.
