With this win, the Scrappers move to 5-2 overall and a perfect 4-0 in conference play, keeping their championship hopes alive and well.
The tone was set early in the first quarter by quarterback Jacoby Hopson, who found the end zone for the game’s opening touchdown.
Kicker Luis Flores drilled the extra point, giving Nashville a 7-0 lead. Hopson wasn’t done yet—he struck again with another touchdown, and Flores remained perfect on PATs, putting the Scrappers up 14-0.
Ashdown managed to respond with a touchdown of their own, narrowing the gap to 14-7, but the Scrappers quickly countered. Northcross powered through the Panthers’ defense for a touchdown, though the extra point was no good, making it 20-7.
The Panthers found the end zone again, closing the margin to 20-14, but that would be their final score of the night.
Before the half, Hopson found paydirt once more, and with another clean kick from Flores, Nashville took a 27-14 lead into halftime.
The second half was all Scrappers.
Bryce Perrin opened the third quarter with a touchdown.
And, Gauge Applegate tacked on a two-point conversion to extend the lead to 35-14.
Applegate wasn’t done—he scored a touchdown himself, and with Flores’ extra point, it was 42-14.
Then Northcross added another touchdown, Flores nailed the PAT again, and it was 49-14.
Perrin closed the show with one final touchdown along with the extra point from Flores, sealing the 56-14 blowout and showcasing Nashville’s offensive depth and defensive dominance.
