Scrappers face Pocahontas and one of the best QBs in the state tonight
Round two of the high school football playoffs will have the Nashville Scrappers making a long trip to northeast Arkansas tonight for a game at Pocahontas. Head Coach Mike Volarvich says the Scrappers defense will face a challenge tonight, because the opposing quarterback is the state leader in touchdowns scored, at 99. In addition to the quarterback, Volarvich says Pocahontas’ team is well coached:
Today’s trip will take a little over four hours to complete. Nashville is undefeated in road games this season and will try to keep the same schedule as possible, with a stop or two, planned along the way:
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. and B99.5 will have the live broadcast.
