Scrappers Fall in State Tournament; Scrapperettes Advance to Second Round

The Nashville Scrappers basketball team wrapped up their season Wednesday during the 4A State Tournament in Morrilton.

Nashville faced the Hall High Warriors in tournament play and fell by a final score of 70-50. The loss brings the Scrappers’ 2025–2026 season to a close with an overall record of 20-5 and an 8-2 mark in conference play.

In other basketball action, the Nashville Scrapperettes continue their postseason run and will play today at 4 p.m. in Morrilton in their second matchup of the 4A State Tournament to play against the Southside Southerners. B99.5 will have the live coverage.

The Scrapperettes advanced after defeating the Mills University Lady Comets 62-33 on Tuesday. The win improved Nashville’s overall record to 29-3 as the team looks to continue their strong performance in the state tournament.
