Scrappers Hit the Road Tonight for Matchup Against Genoa Central Dragons

It’s game day for the Nashville Scrappers as they hit the road tonight to take on the Genoa Central Dragons in a Friday night football matchup.

Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to speak with Nashville Scrappers Head Football Coach Brad Chesshir during the Coaches Show segment, where he shared his thoughts on tonight’s opponent and what the Scrappers need to focus on heading into the contest.

Coach Chesshir began by expressing his respect for Genoa Central Head Coach Jim LeGrand and the work he is doing with the Dragons’ football program. Chesshir also noted that Genoa Central is a team that has continued to improve.

Chesshir also discussed what he told his players during Monday’s team meeting, explaining how the Scrappers will use this week and next week to prepare for what lies ahead as they continue working toward their goals.

The Scrapper head coach went on to talk about his players’ belief in themselves, their commitment to the program and the importance of staying focused when facing challenges throughout the season.

Chesshir also shared his observations after studying film on Genoa Central, discussing what he has seen from the Dragons and what Nashville will need to be prepared for when the two teams meet tonight.

The Nashville Scrappers will look to take care of business on the road tonight as they travel to Genoa to face the Dragons.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and B99.5 will have all the live action. Be sure to tune in and cheer on the Scrappers!
