Scrappers improve to 2-0 in conference play

Nashville picked up its second conference win of the baseball season Tuesday, a 7 to 2 home victory over Bauxite.  Scrapper pitcher Garrett Willard tossed the complete game victory, allowing just 2 runs on five hits, while striking out 9 Miner batters.

For the Scrappers at the plate, Willard also had two hits in three appearances.  Aiden Smith and Kason Willard drove in a pair of runs apiece. 

After a game today against Ashdown, the team will look ahead to spring break..with plans to return for a busy stretch of the season, following the week off:
