Scrappers on the road tonight against Charleston

Two football teams with a winning tradition meet tonight as Charleston hosts the Nashville Scrappers.  Nashville Head Coach Mike Volarvich says Charleston went undefeated in the regular season last year and are currently one of the higher ranked three ‘a’ schools in the state:

With Genoa Central & Fountain Lake opting to play eight man football this season, the Scrappers were left with a couple of holes to fill on the schedule before the season started.  Volarvich said he was glad to be able to add Charleston for tonight’s game & Lonoke on the final night of the regular season.

The coach says Charleston is led by a very dynamic quarterback:
