Scrappers Out Of State Tournament; Nashville & Murfreesboro Girls Play Today

A made free throw with less than one second remaining in the game caused the Nashville Scrappers basketball season to wrap up Wednesday evening with a 50-49 loss against Morrilton in the first round of the 4A State Tournament. Nashville put up 30 points on the scoreboard at halftime and continued to lead most of the way until the final moments.

The Scrappers finish the season with 18 victories. They were runners up at the district tournament.

Today, the Scrapperettes will look to advance. They play Pulaski Academy at 1:00 PM. B 99.5 will have the live coverage.

At the 2A Tournament today, the Murfreesboro Lady Rattlers face Marmaduke at one o’clock.
