Scrappers Win State Indoor Track Championship

The Scrapper track team won the state indoor meet Friday night in Fayetteville. Nashville scored 95 points while DeQueen was second with 83.

First place finishes for the Scrappers include LD Hendrix in the 60 meter run and 200 meter run, Ty Basiliere in the long jump and Randy Ortiz in the 3200 meter run.

Nashville will open the outdoor track season this Thursday with a meet at Lakeside.
