Section of Mount Pleasant Drive Closed for Gas Line Work

Drivers in Nashville are being advised of a street closure due to utility work.

Mount Pleasant Drive is closed from Leslie Street to Pope Street until further notice as crews install a gas line in the area.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and avoid the work zone whenever possible. Officials say the closure will remain in place until the gas line installation project is completed.

Residents and drivers are asked to use caution near the construction area and follow all posted traffic signs and detours.

No timetable has been released for when Mount Pleasant Drive will reopen.
