Sentences Given In Several Howard County Cases
An 18 year old Nashville resident has been sentenced to four years in prison for allegedly furnishing prohibited articles into the Howard County Jail. Seth Mullins was arrested in February during a traffic stop. While going through the booking process at the jail, jailers said they found suspected marijuana on Mullins’ person. In addition to the prison term, Mullins also given a four year suspended sentence and credit for jail time served.
Probated sentences were given in two other cases Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court.
63 year old Richard Newton of Murfreesboro was given five years probation and a $1500 fine. He was charged with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
55 year old Kevin Brazil of Nashville was given a two year probated sentence for violating a protection order. Brazil was also fined $1500 dollars and ordered to have no contact with the victim in the case.
