Sentences Handed Down In Pike County

A Glenwood man has been sentenced to six years in prison on charges of violating a protection order. 38 year old James Allen Carter was also given a four year suspended sentence in addition to the prison term Monday. Authorities said the order was issued against Carter early last year and he allegedly violated the agreement in December.

Two Nashville residents are scheduled for an April 30th trial date on felony charges. 23 year old Daniel Nuttle and 22 year old Victoria Lansdell are each charged with Residential Burglary & Theft of Property. Prosecutors say the charges are related to the November 2019 break in of a residence on Morphew Lane in Pike County.

A six year suspended sentence was imposed yesterday on 37 year old Charles York of Norman. York was charged with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested during a 2018 traffic stop near Kirby.
