Several Southwest Arkansas School Districts Now in Compliance with Act 120

In a following up story from Tuesday, October 7 concerning school district’s that were out of compliance, Southwest Arkansas Radio visited with Nashville School District Assistant Tate Gordon and was informed that the Nashville School District has updated their website the information that they needed to be in compliance with Act120.
According to Gordon, the only thing that was not on the district’s website that was needed was the terms for each school board member.
Currently on the Nashville School District’s website there is a tab that includes the names, positions, terms and email address for every school board member.
Gordon said the Nashville district was informed Friday concerning the omission and had the website updated by Monday morning. Southwest Arkansas Radio was not notified of the district’s that were compliant and non-compliant until Monday afternoon. Therefore, Southwest Arkansas Radio wanted to update our listeners with this new information.
Along with the Nashville School District, Centerpoint, Blevins, Genoa Central, Kirby, Mena, Mountain Pine, Prescott and Texarkana are all in compliance as of Tuesday, October 7.
