Sevier County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Threat at De Queen Junior High

On February 5, 2025, the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported threat at De Queen Junior High School, following an allegation that a student had threatened to bring a gun to school.

Investigators, working in collaboration with the De Queen Police Department, quickly identified a suspect in the case. The juvenile suspect was apprehended by authorities and arrested for Terroristic Threatening.
