Sevier County will break ground on new Medical Center

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Sevier County Medical Center will be held Friday morning at 11 o’clock. The ceremony is open to the public and will include speakers from the SCMC board of governors, the hospital’s foundation board, plus state and local leaders. The event will take place at the site of the new hospital at the corner of Hwy 71and Lee Lane, 3.8 miles north of De Queen. “Coming Soon” signs will be displayed at the site location.
The new medical facility is scheduled to open in the spring of 2022.
