Shooting Incident in Mineral Springs Being Investigated

A shooting incident Tuesday afternoon at Mineral Springs resulted in one person being treated for minor injuries. Authorities say the shooting happened at B’s Quick Stop and began as a verbal altercation. Authorities detained 32 year old Christopher Lee McFadden of Ozan. He was transported to the Howard County Jail as police continue their investigation. Officials say the victim was shot in the thigh and was treated at the scene by Pafford EMS crews.
