South Pike County School Board
The South Pike County School board met Tuesday evening. In the superintendent’s report presented by Brad Sullivan he informed the board that the modular building project received a timeline update stating it would be completed by the 17th of this month and that delivery for the unit could be expected sometime in early December. Allowing it to be in place and ready for use by the Spring semester.
Sullivan also mentioned interest in remodelling the student center. Bids would be taken in the coming months with the intention that work could be completed by fall of next year and ready for the beginning of the 2022 school year.
Last for the meeting was the acceptance of a single resignation. Having worked for the school district since 1979 Jeanine Conley will be retiring after 43 years of service at the end of this school year with an effective date of June 30th, 2022.
