South Pike County School District presents Report to the Public
South Pike County Superintendent Brad Sullivan presented the district’s report to the public, Tuesday night.
Sullivan reported the district is currently operating three campuses, however, the board voted to close the Delight Elementary campus at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Sullivan also gave an update concerning enrollment and how well the staff is managing during the pandemic.
Currently, the district has 9 students quarantined due to testing positive for COVID and close contact.
Sullivan reported the roof project has been completed and work on the drainage system and band hall is progressing.
Board members approved the high bids for four buses, a mini bus, a 15-passenger van and a pickup.
