Southwest Arkansas Basketball Teams In Regional Tournaments

Games are set for area teams in this week’s state basketball tournaments.

The Nashville Scrappers took the 4th seed Saturday afternoon in the regional tournament. Nashville will play Morrilton’s boys Wednesday afternoon at 5:30. The Scrapperettes lost to Star City in the regional championship game and enter the state tournament Thursday at 1:00 against Pulaski Academy. The 4A State tournament is being hosted by Farmington.

In Class Two A, the Dierks Outlaws will be the 4th seed out of the south regional. They will play Marianna Lee tomorrow afternoon in the opening game of the state tournament 2:00. In the girls bracket, the Murfreesboro Lady Rattlers are the third seed from the south region and will play Thursday at 1:00. against Marmaduke. The AA tournament is being hosted at Quitman High School.

In the Class A tournament at Lake Hamilton, the Kirby Lady Trojans will play Western Yell County tomorrow afternoon at 1:00. The Kirby boys team will play Jasper Thursday afternoon at 5:30.
