Southwest Arkansas Homesteading Conference to be Held February 15th
Recently, KMTB and KNAS had the chance to speak with Agricultural Agent of the Pike County Extension Office, Cody McAlister, about the upcoming Southwest Arkansas Homesteading Conference, which is set for February 15th. McAlister shared some insight into how the conference was started and what attendees can expect.
McAlister highlighted several important topics that will be covered at the conference and mentioned the specialists who will be attending to share their expertise.
One of the key discussions at the event will address the ongoing issue of feral hogs, particularly in Pike and Howard counties. McAlister spoke about the challenges posed by these pests in the region.
