SPCSD plans to renovate the Rattler weight room

The South Pike County School District held their regular monthly meeting last week.

Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Brad Chesshir presented a presentation on the need for weight room improvements to the board.

Chesshir talked about what the weight room would be used for and who would have access to it.

Chesshir also discussed the floor plan for the weight room and what he would like to be done.

Chesshir stated that he’s getting basic quotes from a company called Sampson out of Arizona but he’s keeping other options on standby if the prices are not reasonable. Chesshir asked the board for approval to go look for funding. He said his first stop would be the banks in the local area.
