Sports banquets will be held tonight and Tuesday for NHS

Sports banquets are scheduled for today and Tuesday at the Nashville School District.  Athletic Director James “Bunch” Nichols says the district will present awards this evening for cross country, golf, tennis, boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball and cheerleading.

Tuesday’s award presentations will be for girls and boys track and the baseball team.

Each night, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.  The cost is ten dollars for parents and a guest.  A meal will be provided.

The awards banquet for both soccer teams and the Scrapperette softball squad will take place next week.
