Sr Scrappers defeats Mena Bearcats

Friday, the Nashville Scrappers traveled to Mena and faced the Bearcats in their second conference game of the season.

The Bearcats scored first, but Tre Hopkins scored on three straight possessions in the second quarter to put the Scrappers up 20-7.

The Scrappers would score one more time in the first half on a touchdown toss from Karson Chambers to Kason Morgan.

Later in the third, Chambers would score on a touchdown run.

The Scrappers would score their final touchdown on a Tucker Dixon run.

The Bearcats would score late in the game, but the Scrappers defeated the Bearcats 46 to 14.

The Scrappers are now 4 and 2 on the season and 1 and 1 in the conference. The Scrappers will host the Ashdown Panthers this Friday. Kickoff is set for 7pm and B 99.5 will have the live coverage.
