Nashville Basketball Teams In District Semi-Finals Today

Both Nashville Senior High basketball teams will play in today’s semifinal round of the 7-4A District Tournament at Malvern. The Scrapperettes face Mena in a 4:00 o’clock contest this afternoon. During the regular season, the teams split their two conference games with each school winning on the road.

The girls contest will be followed by the Scrappers game against Arkadelphia at 5:30 today.

Both games will be broadcast on B 99.5.

Winners from today’s games will advance to Saturday’s championship contests while the teams losing today’s games will play in the consolation round Saturday afternoon. Regardless of today’s outcomes, both local teams will advance to next week’s regional tournament.
