Sunday Power Outage In Nashville Area

A poorly placed bird’s nest was apparently the reason for an extended power outage in the Nashville area Sunday. The nest knocked out equipment at the electric substation near the high school. A large part of Nashville, as well as some of the surrounding area, was without power about three hours Sunday afternoon before crews could make the necessary repairs.
