Suspended license leads to drug arrest
Drug possession charges have been filed against a Nashville man. 30 year old Rodolfo Delao has been charged this week in Howard County with Possession of a Controlled Substance, meth cocaine. Police say they observed Delao driving earlier this month and were aware he had a suspended license. In addition, Delao’s vehicle also had inoperable brake lights. The department’s K-9 unit was used to conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle, and alerted to drugs being present inside. Officers Greg Parker and David Shelby said they located a cigarette package wrapper that contained a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine.
In addition to the felony count, Delao is also charged with a variety of misdemeanor charges related to the suspended license and assorted vehicle safety violations.
