SW District Farm Family Of The Year Selected

A Hempstead County family has been named the Southwest District Farm Family of the Year. Chris and Densie Sweat of McCaskill are the regional winners and will now compete for the state title against seven other Arkansas farm families.

The Sweat family, including daughters Sara and Anna, operate a 500 acre farm where they raise cattle, sheep and rabbits. They have been in the farming business for 23 years.

The statewide winner will be announced at a December 10th event in Little Rock.
