Texas not so kind to Scrapper baseball team

Nashville baseball completed a three game road trip through Texas Saturday with a loss against Mount Vernon, 14 to 5.  Unlike previous games against Atlanta and New Diana, Nashville never lead in Saturday’s game.  Thursday, the Scrappers took a lead through five innings, but lost 7 to 5 against New Diana.  Friday’s game against Atlanta saw the Scrappers jump out to a 4 to nothing first inning that also wouldn’t hold up in a 5 to 4 loss.  The Scrappers season record is now 4 and 4.

Conference play is schedule to resume tomorrow against Bauxite.
