Texas Woman Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash West of Fulton
A fatal single-car crash occurred west of Fulton on Tuesday afternoon, claiming the life of a 56-year-old woman from Texas. According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, the victim was identified as Leresa Bell, of Marshall, Texas.
The accident took place at 12:53 p.m. near the 12-mile marker of Interstate 30 in Miller County. State Police say Bell was traveling eastbound in a 2023 Toyota Corolla when the vehicle exited the roadway to the right, striking a guardrail. After hitting the guardrail, the car began to overturn and came to a rest on the eastbound roadside.
State Trooper Tyler Gentry was the investigating officer at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Bell was pronounced dead at the scene.
